About Us

The Sutherland Board of Christian education has representatives from 7 local evangelical churches. We employ Fiona Francesconi to teach scripture in both Gymea and Kirrawee High.

The board has been supporting this important paid position in Kirrawee High School since 1981, and in Gymea High School since 1997. We have a great relationship with our two schools and have seen results over the years. There has been a recognisable impact on the students and the local community.

The board also has a partnership with the volunteer scripture ministry run by the local churches at the two schools which manages the years 9-10 scripture, lunch and recess meetings.
